Power Up With SAU1: The Power of Positivity

Today is March 1st. Not only is it the start of a new month but it’s also known as Be Positive, Do Something Positive Day.

The whole idea was started by a man named Harold Cameron, who has had a lot of hard things happen in his life. This includes family members passing away, losing his home in a fire, personal health struggles with cancer and more.

It was ultimately a book that changed the way Harold thought about life. After losing his job, he became a customer advocate where he could help people everyday. He loved his job and wanted to spread the message of helping. After speaking to several people in charge of lawmaking, called legislators, Be Positive, Do Something Positive Day was born.

This day started in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. But its mission has spread throughout the country, and so every year on March 1st it is important to do something positive. This could be working with SAU1 to help spread our mission or doing something for a friend or family member. Whatever you do, do something positive and spread the power of positivity today!
