Self Advocates United as 1 (SAU1)  and Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Final Rule

Self Advocates United as 1 (SAU1) is funded as a subcontractor for Temple University’s Institute on Disabilities (IOD) for a Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council (PADDC) grant to teach people and share information about the The Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Final Rule.

The HCBS Final Rule is a federal policy change announced by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that provides new opportunities for people with disabilities to have the kinds of community services they want.

Learn more about the project  and find information about the HCBS Final Settings Rule and resources in Pennsylvania and nationally to help you get the community life you want on the IOD’s HCBS Final Rule page.
