With the holidays just around the corner, our staff and professional self advocates here at SAU1 would like to wish our supporters a happy holiday season. We are beyond grateful for the things that we have been able to accomplish in this past year. We have not only taken part in several projects that have furthered our mission and vision, but we have also taken part in projects that directly impact the lives of those in the disability community. This further proves the point that when we speak up we are strong. This holiday season, we are grateful for our special gifts and talents that allow us to do the work we are doing.
Reflecting upon this last year, we are again reminded how important our work is. We also understand that we could not do what we do without the support of our dedicated staff and you, the community members. The most precious gift you have given us is not only your support but your willingness to stand beside us as we stand united as one.
We would like to wish you and yours a very safe and happy holiday season from all of us here at SAU1. Thank you for giving us the gift of your support and allowing us to use our gifts and talents to make the world a better place for those disabilities. May you have a fantastic holiday season filled with memories, family, and community. We cannot wait to come back and serve you in the new year.
Stay tuned later this month to learn what our professional self advocates would like to accomplish as we move forward into the new year.
